Working on collections/interests. Decided to split them up into seperate pages to make it easier to manage, so now I have 6 pages for all the things I like, including a misc category.
I've put down names of everything I wanted to include but not much more yet. I did put pictures for the favourite character list and album images for the music page, all with a dither filter. God I love dithering photos.
I also pasted in and reformatted my list of countries and cities visited on holiday. I think we're almost at 50 total different destinations, and 6/7 continents visited, only missing Antarctica (does that really count?)
Also added a list of gigs I've been to, and what I wish I could go see in the future.
to-do: add real content to the interests pages, find somewhere to put all my buttons

Late nights/early mornings are really when I do my best web dev apparently (plus I'm on shift so I might as well) as I've added a few more fancy effects to the landing page and a few new pages.
I've created an about-me page with mostly placeholder information, plus a barebones character wiki. I still need to re-draw everyone, or at least the main 6 or so characters.
I also rearranged some of the links to fit everything in, hopefully it still makes sense with the images.

Changed the text everywhere to a NintendoDS font. A bit easier on the eyes and should actually have glyphs for every symbol.

Adding a blog! Cheating slightly by writing yesterday's entry today, but I couldn't write it back then so...
Thinking I'll work on the fanfic recs page next so I can dump my thoughts on a few things. No one is going to read them but I'll probably enjoy looking back in a few days time.
4 hours later and phew, fic recs all typed out! I might add to this if I find any more but unless it's a new fandom I'll probably keep it at that.
to-do: change the typeface so it's not so harsh to look at (something with lowercase at least...)

Complete website overhaul! Haven't touched it for a few months but had a sudden burst of inspiration, so hopefully I can actually get something up this time.
Trying to keep things minimal so that I don't get worked up over the graphics. Started with just drawing the home page and brainstorming the pages I actually want to have.
Originally went with an image map for all the objects but 1. wayy too much effort outlining everything and 2. can't have fancy hover effects. Ended up making each icon its own image and manually positioning them all with margins and padding. Looks ok!!!
